Marla Carlson is deeply rooted in the Lake of the Woods community and brings unmatched local insight, dedication, and compassion to her work in real estate. A 1994 graduate of Lake of the Woods High School, Marla has served the area in many roles, including as a nurse at LakeWood Health Center since 1997. She currently works in the Public Health Department, where she continues her commitment to serving others.
Marla’s dedication to her hometown is reflected in her past service as a Baudette City Council member and as chair of the Baudette Housing Authority. Her passion for the area and its people is evident in every real estate transaction she takes on. Marla and her spouse have two adult children who live in Baudette with their spouses and children, giving her the joy of being a hands-on grandmother to four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, camping, volunteering, spending time with loved ones, and supporting local youth sports—especially fastpitch softball.
